Este trabajo trata de mostrar en primer lugar que la alimentación no es un mero hecho biológico de consumo de macro y micronutrientes que nos permiten obtener energía para vivir, sino que es un fenómeno mucho más complejo que atraviesa toda la estructura sociocultural de las regiones y territorios. De este modo los alimentos en cada población tienen un gran significado como dijo un poblador de Coranzulí “con los alimentos le damos de comer a Dios y a la Pachamama”. De esta significación y percepción que cada comunidad ha desarrollado a través de su historia se ha aferrado el sistema capitalista y la industria alimentaria, que a través de los procesos de globalización y del Estado como funcional a este aparato ideológico dominante buscan su dominio. Vamos a ir viendo cómo a través de la sutil imposición del consumo de los alimentos industrializados se busca la desestructuración de la producción y reproducción de la vida de los pastores de Coranzulí y de la sociedad en general.
This work tries to show first that food is not a mere biological fact of consumption of macro and micronutrients that allow us to obtain energy to live but is a much more complex phenomenon that crosses the entire sociocultural structure of regions and territories. In this way, food in each town has great meaning, as a resident of Coranzulí said, “with food we feed God and Pachamama.” The capitalist system and the food industry have taken hold of this significance and perception that each community has developed throughout its history, which through the processes of globalization and the State as functional to this dominant ideological apparatus seek its dominance. We are going to see how, through the subtle imposition of the consumption of industrialized foods, the destructuring of the production and reproduction of the life of the Coranzulí shepherds and society in general is sought.
