Me propongo brindar una panorámica sobre la recepción en los años recientes de la obra. La revolución india (1970) del quechuaymara Fausto Reinaga (1906-1994), a los cincuenta años de su primera edición. Sostengo que estamos en el tiempo de la crítica a La revolución india, obra cumbre del indianismo político, realizada ahora desde posiciones neo-indianistas y nacionalistas aymaras. Esto muestra, a su vez, que dicha obra posee una hondura aun insuperable. El artículo se organiza en tres puntos: a) lecturas académicas de La revolución india, b) ejes de la discusión actual sobre La revolución india: neo-indianistas y nacionalistas aymaras y c) desplazamientos en la crítica de la revolución india
My purpose in this paper is to provide a general view of the reception in recent years of the book of Quechuaymara writer Fausto Reinaga (1906-1944), which bears the title La revolución india (1970), fifty years after its first edition. I argue that we are going through a period of criticism to La revolución india, a masterpiece of political indianism, focused nowadays from the perspective of neoindianist and Aymara-nationalist positions. At the same time, this shows that this work contains a still unsurpassable depth. This paper is organized around three main issues: a) academic readings of La revolución india, b) focuses of current discussion on La revolución india: neo-indianists and Aymaranationalists, and c) shifts in the critique of La revolución india.
