"De eso sí se habla". Cuerpo, sexualidad y ciudadanía en contextos indígenas

En este trabajo analizamos las relaciones entre cuerpo, sexualidad y ciudadanía en contextos indígenas tomando como punto de partida las prácticas y procesos de implementación de la Educación Sexual Integral (ESI) en una escuela de la Puna de Jujuy, Argentina. Mediante un ejercicio de reflexividad etnográfica nos aproximamos a las tensiones y disputas de sentidos y significaciones que se producen y reproducen en el marco de un proceso social de generización y sexualización de las corporalidades. El desplazamiento de la sexualidad del ámbito de lo ?privado? al ámbito de lo?público? y el papel de Estado en este proceso, se produce en el marco del lenguaje de los derechos humanos donde la sexualidad es vista como construcción sociocultural y pedagógica que habilita el ejercicio de una ?ciudadanía sexual?. En este contexto, la ESI puso en escena que hablar de sexualidad significaba una disputa cultural y política profunda acerca de qué decir, cómo hacerlo, desde qué perspectivas, a quiénes hablar y dónde sería esperable el despliegue de estos discursos.
In this paper, we analyze the relationships between body, sexuality and citizenship in indigenous contexts, based on practices and processes which take place during the implementation of the subject Integral Sexual Education (ESI) in a school in Jujuy Puna, Argentina. Through an exercise of ethnographic reflexivity, we approach the tensions and disputes of meanings that are produced and reproduced within the framework of a social process of gendering and sexualization of corporeality. The displacement of sexuality from the realm of the “private” to the realm of the “public” and the role of the state in this process are analyzed within the framework of human rights language where sexuality is seen as a sociocultural and pedagogical construction that enables the exercise of “sexual citizenship”. In this context, the ESI has shown that talking about sexuality means a deep cultural and political dispute about what to say, how to say it, from what perspectives, to whom and where.
